A life of competitive athletics, gymnastics, and dance led to what is now a passion for fitness and a zest for motivating people to live vibrant and healthy lifestyles. I am currently working towards a degree in Exercise Science and have been a Mad Dogg Spinning Instructor for two years. However, don't let my youth fool you! I spend much of my time researching and designing rides that will not only challenge your body, but arouse your senses - good music, hard work, and a strong mind state are all brought together. I am a true endurance runner at heart, so many of my cycling techniques will demand your energy, but will help you to build skill and strength. I never use the same playlist twice, so all genres of music are featured as a compliment to the journey that you will take on one of my rides!

I currently work in health care as a Nurse Practitioner and understand the balance of health and exercise. I am passionate about fitness and have an extensive sports background. I have been spinning for many years and then became Mad Dogg certified. I understand how important music is for a spin class and strive to put together a comprehensive and high energy class. I promise you will not be bored! So if you are ready for a fun, sweaty and hard workout come join me for my class!

I am an AFAA certified group fitness instructor and have been teaching spin for the last 3 years, and have been teaching boot-camp and sculpting classes since 2007. I love teaching high intensity classes (no breaks allowed!) with great music that will keep you entertained along the way. I believe that each and every person brings something different to their spin class and I hope that you come to my class ready to give yourself a challenge.

I am a physical therapist and have a strong sports background. I have always had a love for fitness throughout my life. I have been in group fitness for 3 years and I am a AFAA group exercise certified instructor. I have taught indoor cycling classes for a year and I have just recently took the Mad Dogg Athletics Spinning Instructor course and will be certified very soon. In my classes I focus on providing a variety of challenges to make your workout worth every drop of sweat. The mind body connection is important to me as well as a focus on each ride to improve health and decrease the stresses of life.

I have a passion for fitness which is evident whether I am training a client or teaching one of my popular spin classes. I have a love for all types of music and believe that good music and intensity are the keys to a great spin class. Although I like to move around on the bike, cadence and form are very important when it comes to a good ride. My classes offer fun, variety, and a full mind and body workout.

I began teaching in Ft Lauderdale, Florida in 1997. My first class was on the rooftop of a gym right on the beach. What I was surprised to find out is how many people enjoyed my class. I didn't know why. I guess it's because I'm such a huge fan of music and I really try to make each song correlate to what I'm doing on the bike. From Frank Sinatra, to Gipsy Kings to Jay Z and everything in between, I play it all.

I call it "Dancing on a bike". That's what I do. I'm not a big fan of talking when I teach, I get bored easily, so if you like it loud, you may want to give me a try.

I took my first Johnny G/Mad Dogg-style spin class in 2001 on a whim while working at Ramstein Airbase in Germany. I was hooked almost instantly by the fun, sweaty intelligence of the system and the camraderie of my fellow riders. After first getting certified in 2003, I am now a STAR 3 Mad Dogg spinning instructor (lifetime certification) as well as a Forrest Yoga teacher. I love to lead a dynamic, motivating ride built around solid fitness principles and clear training goals. And with rockin' tunes!!

I have been in the fitness industry for the past 6 years as a spinning instructor and personal trainer. In my classes, music is extremely important and I always promise a very eclectic mix. I try to make every class different, but anyone who knows me, knows I love to sprint! When I'm not teaching or training, I'm cooking crazy vegetarian meals or listening to live music. I also compete in triathlons and other endurance races, hopefully completing my first ultramarathon in 2011.

I started spinning shortly after Soho Cycling opened, and immediately knew I wanted to instruct here. In being a student first, I understand the delicate balance between motivating and over communicating, and I’ll be the first to admit that I'm not a fan of the "spin dictator"! I play popular music from all genres including alternative, pop, hip-hop, rap, and even country, throughout all eras. You’ll have a great time in my class and I guarantee that you’ll enjoy it more than your daily job duties, basic boring workouts, and that one tiny area of fat that you can’t seem to get to go away (you know what I’m talking about). My class is Friday at 6, so join me for a session of sweaty fun and come WORK IT before happy hour!

After burning out of the Advertising Industry as a copywriter in 1994, I followed my passion for yoga and cycling landing by working in Los Angeles for Yoga Works, Mad Dogg Athletics, and Equinox. I have been everything from a Group Fitness Manager to the Director of the SPINNING program to the General Manager, with a staff of 60 and a full schedule of every exercise format imaginable. My passion will always be on the mat, and on the bike. As I relocated to Tampa, I was happy to find a community committed to wellness and strength. I am happy to join the Soho team, and instruct Yoga down the road at Yogani as well. Please join in on the passion I am living…

I am currently an AFAA certified spin instructor and also a Certified Physician Assistant. I was born and raised in Florida and have had a love for sports and fitness all of my life. My passion for personal health and fitness has driven me to help others who desire to achieve their goals of healthier living. I believe that people in general need to challenge themselves physically and mentally to overcome obstacles in life. Repetitive habits can lead an individual to an unhealthy way of living; therefore as a professionally trained spin instructor I bring a variety of high energy music and routines to each and every class. If you want to lose pounds, inches and tone your body, all while having fun…my class is guaranteed to help you burn those extra calories needed to reach your goal.

I experienced my first spin class about 10 years ago. After a few years of participating as a student, I quickly concluded I wanted to become an instructor and earned my certification through Madd Dogg Athletics. Having experienced classes at various locations and from a number of different instructors over the years, I quickly realized that what motivated me to return again and again was a high-energy instructor with a great taste in music. But not just any music… a variety of music that inspires you and pushes you right to the edge of your physical limits and leaves you wondering where the last 45 minutes just went. As a full-time business professional, I know that work can add undue stress, and that stress must be released… here is where that happens. I call what I get out of my classes and can create for you Cardio Euphoria. So stop by and experience my class Fridays at 4:30 where you can let go of all the week’s tension and head into the weekend completely stress-free. Let’s take a ride!!
